This double wall sconce has a simple elegance and period detailing that is the very essence of country modern living and will look wonderful on the walls of any room where you'd like to boost your lighting without the need for internal wiring. The beauty of plug-in lights is that you can achieve instant lighting straight out of the box, without the need for an electrician. They are a great lighting solution for older properties with quirky wiring schemes or rental properties where you wish to take your fittings with you. Fit them either side of a bed or next to your favourite arm chair for for instant reading light; above a kitchen counter for general tasking light or in any dark nook or cranny that needs brightening up.Hand forged from solid natural brass that has been lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look, the Smuggler features generous drip trays and strap and rivet detailing on the backplate which harks back to the leather straps that were used to hold candle sconces in cottages and inns during Georgian times. All our lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. Supplied with:150cm braided cable, black in-line switch, black plug, 1 x antiqued brass cable holder and 3 x fixing screws.We recommend our SBC LED Filament Candle Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it is designed to replicate the traditional look of an incandescent bulb, lights up instantly, is dimmable and will flood your room with a soft warm light.
