DESCRIPTION Our handcrafted, solid steel, Small Swing Holdback will make a lovely addition to your window dressing and is ideal for portieres and curtains with limited space for a solid holdback or hook, such as behind doors. Shown above in our classic beeswax finish, the swing holdback will keep your curtains neat and tidy when they are drawn back and provide a decorative touch to your interior scheme. It is designed to sit flat against the wall when not in use.Available in two sizes, the small holdbacks can be used for any curtain but are generally recommended for curtains with single width of fabric. Beeswaxing is a traditional technique used since Tudor times to darken forged iron and give it a lovely, soft black rustic feel. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior.Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment as it is harder to maintain and may rust without regular rewaxing. We feel matt black is the better option.PRODUCT INFORMATIONMade from: steelEmbrace: 12cmDimensions: 12W x 28H x 5D (cms)Finish: Beeswax - a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre.
