Shown above in our smart, hard wearing Matt Black, this letterbox is handmade from high quality steel and has a beautiful, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature. Incorporating bevelled edging and a letter flap which helps keep out the draughts, our Small Letter Plate has the look of a vintage find that is as practical as it is decorative. All our products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshop. These letterplats are available in a selection of finishes to complement our range of door and window furniture. Kindly note, our external letter plates are sprung so can be used vertically. However, our internal letter plates do not have a spring, so are not recommended for doors with vertical letterboxes. To achieve it, the paint is applied in a powder coating process that creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface that is suitable for both indoors and out. KNOWLEDGE BASE GUIDES Letter Plate Guide Screw Fitting Guide HOW TO FIT OUR LETTER PLATES Our external letter plates are supplied with 2 bolts that simply bolt through the door. STEP 1 First correctly position the plate on the outside of your door STEP 2 Mark where the bolt holes need to be. STEP 3 Remove the plate and drill the bolt holes. STEP 4 Reposition the plate and screw into place with the 2 bolts, washers and nuts provided.
