DESCRIPTION Our Oval link chain is a beautifully crafted chain that allows you to hang a pendant light at a specified length. The chain is finished by hand here in Suffolk in a Beeswax finish. The colour can be used for both modern and classic pendants, giving an extra dynamic to your chosen area.The length is cut to 3 metres, ideal for larger spaces where the ceiling is higher up than many others. FINISH Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre.
