A beautiful, handcrafted wall light in forged iron with a decorative, scrolled design that looks wonderful paired with one of our Carlyle Half Shades that are also handmade at our Suffolk Workshop.
This Millfield Wall Light is finished in our Polished Lacquer where the steel is polished until it turns a deep, gunmetal grey colour for a contemporary twist to your scheme. It will suit any style of home and looks particularly good hung as a pair either side of an architectural feature like a doorway, window or fireplace or to add light to a hallway, landing or stairwell.
All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
- We recommend our Classic GLS LED Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to full strength instantly, is dimmable and will flood your room with a soft warm light.
- The Millfield is not supplied with shades but we have a huge collection of handmade Half Shades in a multitude of colours to find your perfect match.

Polished Lacquer: This really showcases the stunning natural patina of the metal and is a great choice for a contemporary home or to update a traditional one. To produce the gunmetal grey colour, we polish the metal then seal it with a high gloss clear lacquer to create a finish with great durability. The texture and patina of the iron itself gives the product character which looks wonderful with a grey or natural colour way and works particularly with other metallic finishes such as nickel. It also looks great against natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally as good in a modern property as it does a period one.
