Hand cast from high quality natural brass that has been lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look, it has a beautiful, weighty quality that can only be achieved by traditional smithing methods.
Incorporating bevelled edging and a letter flap that will help to keep out the draughts, it has the look of a vintage find that is as practical as it is decorative. All our products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops.
Kindly note, our external letter plates are sprung so can be used vertically. However, our internal letter plates do not have a spring, so are not recommended for doors with vertical letterboxes. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Letter Plate Guide Screw Fitting Guide How To Clean Brass & Copper HOW TO FIT OUR LETTER PLATES
Our external letter plates are supplied with 2 bolts that simply bolt through the door.
STEP 1
First correctly position the plate on the outside of your door
STEP 2
Mark where the bolt holes need to be.
STEP 3
Remove the plate and drill the bolt holes.
STEP 4
Reposition the plate and screw into place with the 2 bolts, washers and nuts provided.
