DESCRIPTION
Our decorative Large Crook Holdbacks are the perfect companion for any curtains, and for your Jim Lawrence curtain poles, as they are made with the same Crook design as our Crook finials, handrails and ready-made pole packs. Shown above in our beeswax finish for a rustic, soft, black appeal, they will keep your curtains neat and tidy when drawn back and bring some traditional charm to your interior.

The Crook holdbacks are available with a left and right sided embrace. The left sided holdback shown above can be used with any style of curtain and'' where the curtain is fitted to the left of your window. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques that have been handed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops.

Kindly note, we do not recommend using beeswax in a humid environment as it is not waterproof and may rust without regular re-waxing. We suggest using our matt black finish instead.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Made from: steel
Embrace: 12cm left side
Dimensions: 24W x 12H x 12D (cms)
Finish: Beeswax - A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor time''s to give a rustic, soft black finish. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives it a lovely soft black wrought iron effect that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally. For more information, see our Product Finishes page in the Knowledge Base.
