DESCRIPTION A majestic ceiling lantern with beautiful 16th century inspired scrollwork, the Large Charlecote Lantern makes perfect statement lighting for any home with high ceilings. Calling to mind the Tudor turrets of Charlecote Park in Warwickshire, after which the lantern is named, we came up with a design that would showcase the work of our talented blacksmiths. This generously proportioned glass lantern is made from high quality forged iron finished in bronze metallic for a classic, naturally aged bronze appeal, and features a hexagonal metal cage that houses six lamp holders shielded by six panes of glass – one of which opens to enable easy bulb changing. All Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished here at our Suffolk workshops. Supplied with 1m of chain, black cable and a ceiling rose in the same finish. We recommend our SBC Candle LED Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your lantern as it has visible filaments, lights up to full strength immediately, is dimmable and is equivalent in brightness to a 40W old style bulb.
