We are excited to introduce our distinctive new Lambourne Wall Light that, with its tubular shape and dainty ribbed glass shade, has a vintage glamour that is reminiscent of Art Deco style lighting that was popular in the 20s and 30s. Art Deco design is characterised by bold, delineated shapes, geometric patterns and sharp lines and was revived during the 1970s and remains hugely popular in modern interiors today.
Shown above in our antiqued brass finish that gives it a subtle, aged appearance, the Lambourne encapsulates the trend for textured glass and warm metallic fittings around the home. It features a handblown, elongated glass shade with elegant, fine fluting that refracts light beautifully along its lines, creating a soft, hazy glow that ensures it becomes a stunning focal point wherever it is fitted.
The Lambourne adds texture and lightness to a scheme without encroaching on the sense of space, making it ideal as a living room wall light, for bedside lighting or to brighten up a narrow hallway. It is also available as a pendant –
Lambourne Single Pendant. We recommend our BC Tube LED Filament Bulb as the perfect partner to your Jim Lawrence light as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to strength immediately, is energy efficient and cost effective and produces a warm, white light equivalent to an old-style 40W bulb. Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by gently distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
