This Ickworth is hand crafted from high quality forged iron that is painted Old Gold for a subtle, aged look and has a wonderful tactile quality that befits its handmade nature. All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.

Old Gold: Our Old Gold is a beautiful, dull, old gold powder paint that is applied on top of layers of black paint to give it a dark, matt tone. It is then heated in a powder coating process to produce a smooth resilient finish which is then gently antiqued by hand to give it a richer, deeper look that will bring a subtle touch of luxury to any traditional or contemporary setting.
