Our elegant Ickworth Pendant combines the best of old fashioned styling with a contemporary design to produce a traditional light that will look at home in any setting. Designed with four bulbs hidden beneath a single, large, pendant shade, it looks particularly fabulous taking centre stage in a living room, hallway or hung above a dining room table.
This Ickworth is hand crafted from high quality forged iron that is beeswaxed for a natural, soft black look and has a wonderful tactile quality that befits its handmade nature. All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
- The Ickworth is designed to be used with a single large shade. We reccomend shades sized between 30cm to 45cm wide. See the 'Customers Also Bought' for some suggestions.
- If you like a shade with sloped sides, you will need a Pendant shade for this light fitting. Shades with straight sides and no pattern can be used either way up.
- Try our 45cm Pendant Wide French Drum Shades or 45cm Wide Cylinder Shades.
- The shade can be adjusted to sit as high or low as you like on the stem with a grub screw to hold it in place.
Kindly note that the Ickworth is not supplied with a shade, you will need to purchase it separately. Also, the shade must be fitted to the light prior to installation. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Lampshade FAQS FINISH
Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally.
