Prized throughout the world for its versatility, linen is used everywhere from bedding to upholstery and lampshades and has a subtle slub that lends a charming simplicity to modern day interiors, perfect for creating a fresh, informal feel in a room.
Naturally hypo-allergenic, with a thicker, slightly stiffer yarn than cotton, linen is a delightfully porous, lightweight fabric that softens with use and wicks away both heat and moisture, making it ideal for soft furnishings. Families would pass their linen down the generations such was its durability which is two to three times stronger than cotton.
We strongly recommend that you order a swatch before ordering any of our fabrics to help you decide if it is right for you. Kindly note : Colour variations can occur between different batches of fabric so if you are using this fabric more than once in the same room, we recommend ordering the whole amount needed in one go to ensure that it comes from the same batch (this includes matching to any shades previously purchased from us).
