The Finsbury’s simple, pared down design is ideal for modern properties or to update traditional ones. We make a range of door and window furniture in the same finish for a complementary look around your home. Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for bathrooms or outdoor use as it will rust in a humid environment. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
