A contemporary take on the look of a traditional oil lamp, our Double Morston Wall Light has become a design classic. With its hand blown, fluted glass shades and simple bevelled backplate, it will look equally at home in an industrial style loft conversion, bedroom, kitchen or living room as it would a country cottage setting.
Displaying generously sized glass shades and simple, unadorned candle tube holders, the Double Morston is an excellent alternative to traditional wall lighting with fabric lampshades. The Morston is hand forged from high quality steel that has been polished to a deep gunmetal grey and has a wonderful, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature. All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.

Finish: Polished - a gunmetal finish that highlights the natural colour of polished, lacquered iron for a vintage or industrial look that suits a contemporary setting and will update a traditional one. To produce the finish, we coat our steel products in a metallic lacquer that emulates the texture and patina of iron and gives the product great character that looks wonderful with grey or natural colourways and works particularly well with other metallic finishes such as nickel. Our Polished finish works well with natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster and woodwork.
