Our handblown Opal glass is created by sandblasting white glass to give an opaque, white finish that has a lovely, slightly rough texture. Combined with a solid brass gallery and fixing plate that is nickel plated for a bright contemporary touch, the collection includes IP rated ceiling, wall and pendant lights for a bathroom or cloakroom and hanging pendant lights for a kitchen island, dining table or living room.
Shown above in our nickel finish, this Compton Opal Bathroom Wall Light is an ideal choice for your bathroom and looks particularly beautiful fitted either side of a bathroom mirror or above a sink or vanity unit. It is IP rated 44, meaning it is suitable for a bathroom or outdoors setting, so you can use it to brighten up a front entrance or porch as well as in an indoor space. Nickel is an ideal finish for bathrooms and outdoors as the underlying metal does not rust.

Finish: Nickel - Our nickel finish has a bright, silvery quality that is more akin to Chromium than many other nickel finishes available elsewhere. Its lustre is created by plating solid brass with highly polished nickel then finishing it with a flash coating of chrome that will add to its durability. Nickel is a versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork. It looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one and being highly reflective, will catch the light more than our painted finishes, so is great to use if you want to make a statement, as it will help draw your eye.
