The Brompton is a hand forged, adjustable, solid steel standard lamp that has been specially designed as a reading light - ideal for use in a living room, study or bedroom. Featuring a beautiful spiral frond that emerges from the top of the stem, arching over the bulb holder, and a fully adjustable stand, it is as decorative as it is practical.
This Brompton is finished in our beautiful old gold paint, a deep, dull gold that brings a touch of luxury to any traditional or contemporary interior. The lamp’s height can be adjusted between 153 and 217cm, making it ideal as a reading light. We recommend our dimmable
Classic GLS LED Filament Bulb as the perfect accompaniment for your lamp as has the look of a heritage bulb, gives off a lovely warm white light, is energy efficient, lights to full strength immediately.
- Floor lamps are supplied with an on/off switch so are not dimmable.

Old Gold: Our Old Gold is a beautiful, dull, old gold powder paint that is applied on top of layers of black paint to give it a dark, matt tone. It is then heated in a powder coating process to produce a smooth resilient finish which is then gently antiqued by hand to give it a richer, deeper look that will bring a subtle touch of luxury to any traditional or contemporary setting.
