This wall light is lovingly hand forged from high quality forged iron that is beeswaxed for a rustic, soft black appearance. It has a lovely weighty quality that befits is handmade nature and is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to update their interior without losing any sense of period charm.

How To Clean Beeswax FINISH
Beeswax: A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally.
