A beautiful cut glass pendant light engraved with a fern frond and star motif that really catches the light, our Ashurst will make a lovely centerpiece wherever it is hung as it will draw your eye. Sister to our
Shotley Pendant Light, the Ashurst has an airy, transparent quality that makes the most of any available light, without encroaching on the sense of space in a room and looks wonderful illuminating a dining room table, breakfast bar, bedroom or sitting room.
This Ashurst is handcrafted from solid natural brass that has been antiqued for a subtle, aged look and features a hand blown cut glass shade and our UK-made heritage bronze braided cable. All
Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops.
Supplied with:
- 50cm of bronze braided cable and a Georgian Ceiling Rose in the same finish.
- The ceiling rose is flush fitting so you may need to use a Lighting Pattress > if you can’t hide the wiring in a ceiling cavity. For more information, see our Backplates Explained > and our Pattress Fitting Guide >
- We recommend our Classic GLS LED Filament Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it lights up to full strength immediately, is dimmable, has a lumens (brightness) of 520, equivalent to a 50W incandescent bulb and 36 degree beam which has a wider reach than most spot bulbs.

Cleaning Glass Can I Alter The Length Of My Pendant? FINISH
Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by gently distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
