DESCRIPTION Complete your window dressing with our 38mm classic curtain pole in our light grey mercury finish, for a lovely soft, forged iron look that will suit modern and period homes alike. These curtain rods are made to measure from premium quality, high strength steel tubing and are suitable for large windows and heavy weight curtains. The finials are substantial and heavy and will not suit small windows. We also make a wide range of complementary finials, brackets and rings for you to choose from. Pole length Any length of pole can be ordered, but if over 180cm long we would recommend using a central support bracket and if over 210cm long it will be supplied in two (or more) equal parts with a joiner rod. The join will be covered by your central bracket. All Jim Lawrence poles are made using traditional metal working techniques and are finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk showroom. Our made to measure poles are hollow so the finials slot inside them and are fixed by grub screws. It is achieved by coating the metal with multiple layers of mercury paint over a black base coat to create a deep, lustrous metallic finish.
