Our 25mm Chapel Adjustable Passing Brackets are the perfect companion for your forged iron curtain poles ensuring they will look fabulous for years to come in whichever room they are fitted. These clever brackets can be fitted centrally or at intervals along a long the pole to allow the curtain to draw across it - particularly useful for long poles or for bay windows.
The brackets have an adjustable arm that enables you to fit a pole 6.2 - 8.4cm from the wall to suit your requirements. They work in conjunction with our 25m poles, any of our 25mm bracket range and our C-shaped 25mm Stoke Ring and Passing Rings for a complete system. Hand forged from high quality steel, these brackets are finished in traditional black Beeswax for a lovely soft, wrought iron look. We also make a wide range of complementary finials, rings and curtain holdbacks for you to choose from.
- Our range of standard or sleeve brackets is generally used at either end of your pole with the adjustable passing brackets fitted centrally or at intervals along your pole.
- With a maximum reach (depth) of 8.4cm to the front of the pole, they will fit most window settings.
- We recommend using a standard Stoke Ring between the bracket and finial at each end of your pole to secure the curtain fabric and prevent it from being pulled right across the pole.
- You will need to use our Stoke Passing Rings with this bracket to enable the fabric to slide easilly across the bracket.
- If you have protruding features such as a window frame, architrave or radiator below your window, you may need to choose a 20 or 25mm curtain pole to use with our Extended Brackets
We do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option.
