DESCRIPTION
Our new 20mm Extended Sleeve Brackets are the perfect companion for your forged iron curtain poles ensuring they will look fabulous for years to come in whichever room they are fitted.  Designed to fit windows with a protruding frame, or where a longer reach is required for your pole, these brackets are double the depth of our standard Sleeve Brackets and incorporate a decorative thumbscrew to help secure the pole, and chamfered edges for an elegant finish.

These brackets can be used at either end and at the centre of our 20mm forged iron curtain poles. They can also be used for a ceiling fitting pole. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are designed and finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops. Browse our stunning collection of brass and iron curtain pole accessories, including centre and recessed brackets, rings and a wide range of finials to personalise your look.

FINISH

Beeswax: A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives it a lovely soft black wrought iron effect that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally.

We do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option.
