DESCRIPTION
An antiqued brass 45° elbow joint that is used to connect conduit tubes where a change of direction is required. Our conduit is the perfect solution for transforming unsightly external wiring into a stunning feature as it enables you to add interest to any outdoor lighting scheme by connecting your chosen lights along a wall while hiding ugly wires.

The 45° conduit elbow is a non-accessible 45-degree angle connector that works by screwing a coupler into each end. It is recommended a bracket or junction box is spaced within 40cm of either end of an elbow to ensure adequate support. Make sure an O-ring is placed between a coupler and elbow for IP purposes.  Our conduit system is a universal size to ensure a perfect fit with any of our conduit components, compatible Jim Lawrence lights and conduit parts from other manufacturers. The system is ideal for introducing a heritage, industrial style to your property or where solid walls prevent you from hiding electrics within a cavity.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Dimensions: 3H x 5L x 5W (cms)
IP Rating: The conduit system works via a series of push fit couplers to join the tube between junction boxes. The couplers have an internal O-Ring that presses against the tube creating an IP seal.
An IP44 rating can be achieved when fitted as a complete system with the recommended outdoor lighting - see our Guide to IP Ratings
For compatible lights and component parts see our 1 & 2m Conduit Kits

Please note that we always recommend you use a qualified electrician to help you install your lighting and accessories.

FINISH

Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely, aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
