DESCRIPTION Our 12mm Double Pole Centre Brackets are the perfect companion for your forged iron curtain poles ensuring they will look fabulous for years to come in whichever room they are fitted. Hand forged from high quality steel, these double brackets allow two 12mm poles to be used at the same window so that you can hang one curtain in front of another, typicallly a sheer net or voile, or a blind hung alonside a heavier curtain. This bracket is finished in traditional black Beeswax for a lovely soft, wrought iron look and is suitable for all curtains. We also make a wide range of complementary finials, rings and curtain holdbacks for you to choose from. The brackets have a decorative thumbscrew at the front to help secure your pole, and chamfered edges for an elegant finish. Double brackets are generally used at either end of your pole. With a reach (depth) of 7.5cm to the front of the pole, they will fit most window settings. For poles over 180cm, we recommend using a double pole centre bracket in the middle for additional support. If you have protruding features such as a window frame, architrave or radiator below your window, you may need to choose a 20 or 25mm curtain pole to use with our Extended Brackets Finials - to ensure a good fit, we recommend using our 12mm button finials for the back pole (closest to your window) so they don't interfere with the finials at the front. You can then choose any 12mm finial for the front pole.We do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option.
