Lights Illustrated: Mayfield 4 Arm Pendant & Elmwood Angled Wall Light
Meet the latest member of our candle shade family - our neat French Cone Candle Shades. Designed with our new mid century Mayfield and Elmwood Collections in mind, these candle shades are a little narrower and taller than our classic Empire candles shades, and look wonderful on shade arms that show off their height and elegant proportions.
Our silk dupion shades are always the most popular because pure silk is a uniquely beautiful fabric with a luxurious textured quality and richness that cannot be reproduced in other materials. Not surprisingly, these qualities makes it much sought after in both period and contemporary homes for soft furnishings and bedding. All our silk candle shades have a fabulous natural sheen and distinctive weave that makes them stand out from the rest, however, as a natural fabric they do need looking after as they can fade and deteriorate over time.

Kindly note this shade is upward fitting for lights where the bulb points up. SILK CHARACTERISTICS
As a natural fibre, silk dupion has a prominent textured slub in its weave that is irregular in appearance and there may be variations in shade. Fading and deterioration may occur over time, especially in sunlight and is more noticeable in darker colours. We don’t recommend it for lampshades that will sit in, or near, a bright window. Please take a look at our lovely collection of faux silks which we have sourced for customers wanting the look and feel of pure silk in a more robust fabric.

CANDLE SHADES
Our candle shades are all fitted with a wire candle clip that is designed to sit directly on top of a small bayonet (SBC, B15) candle bulb so that they fit snugly to our collection of wall lights.
We make four different styles as shown in the image on the left:

CANDLE CLIP FITTING
Our Candle shades are supplied with candle clip fittings, two loops of wire like elongated butterfly wings that can be pulled apart slightly so that the shade sits directly on the top of a small bayonet (SBC) candle bulb.
