We are so excited about our handsome new Barbican Wall Light in Antiqued Brass which we have designed to match our bestselling
Barbican Pendant. With its simple lines and vintage detailing, it would look as good in the best hotels, bars and restaurants as it would in your kitchen, study or hallway.
Hand crafted from solid, natural brass that has been lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look and featuring a spun shade which directs its light downwards, the Barbican is a design classic with a timeless quality that looks equally at home in both contemporary and period settings. Fit it in your lounge or dining room to create a relaxed atmosphere or use it for focused tasking over a kitchen unit or console table.
All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
- We recommend our Classic GLS LED Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to full strength instantly, fills your room with soft white light and is dimmable.
- This is a flush fitting light, so if you do not have room in your wall to hide the wiring, you may need to use our Georgian Lighting Pattress to give added depth to the backplate.

How to Clean Brass And CopperFINISH
Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
