We are so excited about our handsome Barbican Wall Light in Slate Grey which we feel has the appeal of our bestselling Barbican Pendant but designed as a wall sconce. With its simple lines and vintage detailing, it would look as good in the best hotels, bars and restaurants as it would in your kitchen, study or hallway.

Hand crafted from high quality steel that has been painted slate grey for an urban chic look that evokes loft living style, and featuring a shade with which directs its light downwards, the Barbican is a design classic with a timeless quality that looks equally at home in both contemporary and period settings. Our Slate Grey finish fits in perfectly with the popularity of black, deep grey and blue accent colours in current kitchen designs, and combined with a Traffic White painted interior, evokes the feel of warehouse or loft space living. 

All Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.  

• We recommend our Classic GLS LED Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to full strength instantly, fills your room with soft white light and is dimmable.
• This is a flush fitting light, so if you do not have room in your wall to hide the wiring, you may need to use our Georgian Lighting Pattress to give added depth to the backplate.
