There is nothing like a scent to evoke the right atmosphere at home, whether it is to offer us respite and relaxation, a sense of vitality, or connection to deeply held memories. We have been sourcing our original beeswax candles from
Charles Farris for over 20 years, so we felt it was natural to continue this partnership when seeking some scented additions.
The London-based company has been making candles since Victorian times when Charles Farris, a soap maker, noticed there was a demand for high-quality candles for churches. Such was his success that he established a small factory and began supplying candles throughout London, including Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral and eventually, Queen Elizabeth II.
Candles can bring life to corners of the home that need a little lift, such as
coffee tables,
windowsills, and sideboards. Not only perfect for illuminating your favourite artworks and treasures with their magical glow, candles also dial up the ambience of a space with the calming movement of a flame and subsequent stress-relieving qualities.
As we spend more time in the home during the colder winter months, what better time to envelop your space with the warm and inviting scents of our new candle collection?
