What style lampshades do you make?
All our shades are made in our Suffolk workshop by our talented team of shade makers from our range of beautiful fabrics that have all been handpicked as a perfect partner for our lighting range. A new lampshade will instantly refresh your room without the need to dig deep in your pockets. With over 1,000 lampshade designs on offer in more than 60 fabrics to choose from, we are pretty confident we can find the right combination for you.
All our shades, apart from candle and half shades, come fitted with a reducer ring that can be removed to ensure a universal fit.
Candle Shades
These are small shades with tapering sides that are designed to fit the majority of our wall lights.
Empire Shades
The classic cone shaped shade with steep sloping sides for table lamps and smaller floor lamps.
French Drum Shades
These shades have slightly inclined sides suitable for wall lights, table and floor lamps.
Cylinder Shades
Cylinders can be used one way to fit a table or floor lamp (bulb pointing up) and turned upside down to fit a pendant ceiling light (bulb pointing down).
Square Shades
Available with straight or sloped sides suitable for table and floor lamps. Straight sided squares can be used as a pendant for ceiling lights.
Half Shades
We make three styles for wall lights and some table lamps. The Penrose has a candle clip fitting, the Hanbury and Carlyle have slider shade rings that require a BC (large bayonet) fitting bulb.
Oval Shades
Available with straight or sloped sides and primarily designed for lamp bases. The straight sided versions can be used as a ceiling pendant.
Rectangular Shades
Available with straight or sloped sides and primarily designed for lamp bases. The straight sided versions can be used as a ceiling pendant.
