DESCRIPTION Update your home with our handsome Manson window latch in a soft, black beeswax finish. Handcrafted here at our Suffolk workshop, the Jim Lawrence Manson window latch is designed for casement windows and is made using traditional metal working techniques that have been passed down through the generations. This window latch is made from high grade steel which gives it a lovely weighty quality that feels wonderful in your hand. It has been finished in beeswax, an age-old method of dipping metal in hot beeswax to give it a rustic, black, forged iron look that would suit any cottage or period home. Pair it with our lockable Manson latches if you need added security, and our collection of Manson window stays for a uniform look around your home. Left handed latches are used where the window hinges are on the right – see our Door & Window Latch Guide. Please Note: We do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option.
