"I love the Lymington because it's such a striking wall light. It's a modern take on quite a classic style that fits easily into any interior. At first glance, it looks like a traditional Georgian wall light, but its simple, unadorned styling and braided cable brings it bang up to date.
"Accents of antique brass work brilliantly against a dark backdrop, it creates a sense of drama. The Lymington looks wonderful with dark blue, deep green and grey/black wall colours - the antiqued brass really pops. It also looks at home in a neutral scheme where the rich metallic tones add warmth and character.
"I'd pair the Lymington with one of our Carlyle Half Shades as shown here. I think the simple outline brings a touch of elegance to the fitting, ideal if you want to create a focal point on either side of a fireplace, window or doorway."
