If you are looking for softer, more traditional lighting for your kitchen or dining room, our Barchester could be the solution. A double armed pendant, handcrafted from natural solid brass that has been antiqued for a subtle, aged look, the Barchester is designed to sit above a kitchen island unit, breakfast bar or dining room table.
Incorporating fabric pendant shades, it gives ample lighting for those all important tasking jobs, yet emits a warm soft glow ideal for dining, especially if used with a dimmer switch to adjust the brightness. The pendant hangs from a 50cm long brass track that fixes onto your ceiling and is supplied with 1m of cable which can be shortened on installation.
- This light requires a PENDANT lampshade – for more information, please see our Shade Orientation Guide.#
- We recommend our Classic GLS LED BC bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your Barchester as it retains the look of a heritage bulb, is long lasting, economical, has a warm white light and it the equivalent of an old style 50-60W bulb.

How To Clean Brass and Copper Finish
Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
