If you are looking for a beautifully reflective glass lamp for your lounge, hallway or bedroom, our fluted Harleston should fit the bill. Handblown here in Suffolk, it sports an eye-catching, fluted glass ball base that surrounds the central stem, ensuring it becomes a focal point in any room in your home.

This Harleston features a forged iron stand and stem that have been beeswaxed to give it a soft back, heritage appearance. All Jim Lawrence lights are handcrafted at our Suffolk workshop using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are finished to the highest standards.

• We recommend our Classic GLS BC LED bulb as the perfect partner for your Harleston as it has the look of a heritage bulb, is dimmable, energy efficient and gives off a lovely warm white light.

Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
