DESCRIPTION
A beautiful 3 gang dolly switch with brass toggles and plate hand forged from high quality steel and finished in beeswax for an elegant, aged look that will add a touch of contemporary style to any room in your home.

Our dolly (toggle) switch plates are all made with a slimline brass or steel backplate that sits flush against the wall, with either a straight bevelled edge for a sleek, modern look to your home, or an uneven, hammered edge for a more rustic feel.

Each switch is 20amp, 2 way which means it can be used for switching lights from either one or two places such as from the top and bottom or your stairs. If you need to switch the light on from more than 2 positions (e.g. middle of the stairs) you will need an intermediate module which can be added for a small additional cost upon request. All Jim Lawrenceproducts are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.

Finish

Beeswax: A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.

Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel Matt Black is a preferable option.
